The temple that is dedicated to Lord Brahma in Pushkar is called Jagatpita Brahma Mandir. The temple is close to Pushkar Lake and is the only temple in India which is built for Lord Brahma. According to the locals, the temple is 2000 years old. But Maharaja Jawat Raj of Ratlam built the current structure of the temple.

In ancient times, Adi Shankaracharya renovated this temple. Hindu mythology states that Lord Brahma came down to earth and chose this temple to perform a religious ceremony. The temple has the idols of Lord Brahma and Gayatri. This Brahma Temple is immensely religious and sacred for Hindus.
