5.) Trinetra Ganesha Temple

The Trinetra Ganesha Temple is a temple of Lord Ganesha and it is situated in Ranthambore Fort. There is an interesting legend behind the temple and it goes back to the time when Ranthambore was a princely state. It so happened that a battle took place between a king called Hameer and Alauddin Khilji in 1299 AD.

The food stock in the fort was getting over due to the long battle, and the king was worried about it. One night, Lord Ganesha came into his dreams and told him that all his problems will get over the next morning. Soon after, a three-eyed idol of Ganesha formed on the walls.

As predicted in the dreams of the king, the battle came to a stop the following day, King Hameer built a temple of Ganesha in 1300 AD, with the idol of Ganesha and his mouse, his wives Riddhi and Siddhi, and two sons called Shubh and Labh. As the idol of Ganesh has three eyes, the temple is called Trinetra Ganesha Temple.

6.) Padam Talao

Padam Talao ranks as the biggest lake in Ranthambore National Park. The lake has incredible scenic beauty but also is a major source of water for the wild animals in the forest. You can spot many creatures here on your Ranthambore Tiger Safari.

The lake is named after the water lilies which grow in this lake. The word Padam originally comes from the Sanskrit word Padma, which refers to the lotus flower. 7.) Raj Bagh Talao
